Each crematorium will vary, with regards to their own rules and procedures.
They will also differ on how many mourners their chapels will hold. Some crematoria have outside speakers or screens for larger attended funerals. Recorded music can be played which we would source for you. A webcast of the service can also be provided for those family and friends who cannot attend the funeral.
At the end of the service the curtains around the coffin can remain open or can be closed before you leave the chapel. Please ask our team for more information for individual crematorium practice. Following on from the day of the funeral, we will contact yourselves to discuss the cremated remains and the options available to you such as scattering or burial.
Head to our directory to find your nearest crematorium.
Types of Service
Religious service
Church service: The number of mourners who can attend church services, vary due to the size of the building. We shall confirm this with the minister at the time of booking and will notify you as soon as possible. Music of your choice can be provided, either by an organist, if available, or if not we shall arrange recorded music. For those family and friends who cannot attend the funeral, a live stream is sometimes possible, again depending on the church, we can organise this for you if requested.
If you would not like to attend church, we can organise for the minister to conduct the funeral at your chosen crematorium or graveside. The vicar or priest will contact you prior to the funeral to discuss the service and what will be included.
Non- Religious service
Our trusted celebrant will be able to plan a fitting and personal service with you prior to the funeral taking place. They will be able to discuss with you, what you would like included in the service along with any family tributes, poems, reflection music and readings.
